about

Inquisitive and unusually - overbearingly - pleasant, Esfyr was born a Lannister but married into House Stark some years ago. Her upbringing was a fairly sheltered one, as to be expected, yet she pried enough into business that was perhaps not her own to familiarise herself with the troubles of the realms. Losing her first husband to the conflict involving her birth House, the red veil she wore at the time as the symbol of her grief earned her the name of "The Crimson Widow", a loose and now somewhat redundant title.

family

Her family tree has grown a little complicated with her marriage to Jon Stark; she is stepmother to his children, but has brought her own children to Winterfell with her. Since the division of the realms she has also given birth to her youngest son; the Stark boy's existence alone, Esfyr hopes, will bind their houses together even in the case of her own death. Maceo is her elder brother, his children her nieces and nephews. Depending on who is married to who regarding both the Starks and Lannisters, it's very possible she has more people in her extensive family. She's very fond of those she considers her family, for the most part, and of course, is particularly protective of her own children.

friends & allies

Those that have positive relations with The North and The Westerlands can typically expect to be in Esfyr's good books. She's the talkative type, which can irritate some, particularly if they don't consider it her place to be speaking with them. But that will be their problem, not hers - in her opinion. Overall her position does make her quite a good ally to have on one's side; she doesn't have command of the armies of her Houses but can help with other matters, including economic (and sometimes underhand) ones.

enemies

A rare category, though there are still those that fall within it. Through Maegor's actions, Esfyr has a lingering bitterness (and, more recently, pity) towards the Targaryens, though she's also strongly against the Faith Militants. She'll deal with Targaryens for the sake of finding solutions to problems, and has some level of understanding that Maegor was a lone cruel individual, but will have little patience for any of those that would twist the Faith in such a horrific manner.

other

Typical interactions that could take place are those of the Great Houses as well as Vassal Houses. She's a rather open individual, tending to speak with anyone and everyone around her, which can also include the soldiers and servants around Winterfell. Recent happenings are what one will typically find themselves conversing with Esfyr about. And if she sees one's allegiance as particularly worthy of praise, expect to know about it - a Lannister always pays her debts, after all.
